Knightmile Apps, LLC ("we", "us") operates the iPhone apps published under the Knightmile Apps name (each one is the "App", and together they are our "Apps"), and this policy applies to all of them. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. On the App Store, the developer's legal name is listed as the seller of our Apps.
Information we collect
Our Apps do not collect any data. They have no accounts and no sign-in, they do not connect to any server of ours, and nothing you enter in an App is sent to us. The information that reaches us is limited to:
- Emails you send us. If you write to support@
knightmileapps.com , we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. - Reports from Apple. Apple gives us sales, subscription, and download reports that do not identify you, and shows us any ratings and reviews you choose to post on the App Store.
- Crash reports and usage statistics, if you choose to share them with app developers. Apple, not the App, collects these from people who turn on Share With App Developers in their iPhone's settings. Apple gives them to us only in a form that does not identify you.
- Visits to our website. When you visit our website, including these pages, our hosting provider receives standard request information, such as IP address and browser type, which we may be able to see. Our website also uses the Meta Pixel (see These pages).
Purchases are made through Apple. The App uses Apple's in-app purchase system to show subscription options and prices, to let you buy, restore, or manage a subscription, and to check whether your subscription is active; for this, your iPhone may connect to Apple's App Store. Apple handles this under its own privacy policy, and we never see your payment details.
What we do not collect
Our Apps do not collect your location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and we do not use any third-party advertising, analytics, or behavioral-tracking SDKs; in fact, our Apps contain no code from other companies, apart from Apple's own. The Apps show no ads. Our Apps do not track you across other apps or websites.
What stays on your iPhone & sharing
Everything you enter in the App, such as your plans, lists, and settings, is saved on your iPhone. The App does not upload it or sync it to your other devices.
- Widgets. Where the App offers a widget, the widget shows a few details from the App, such as the name of tonight's dinner, using a copy saved on the same iPhone. If you place a widget on your Lock Screen or in StandBy, those details can be seen without unlocking your iPhone.
- Notifications. Where the App offers timers, it can alert you when a timer you started is done. iOS asks for your permission the first time you use that feature, not when you open the App. These alerts are scheduled on your iPhone; they are not sent from a server.
- Photos. Where the App lets you save a picture, such as a picture of your week, iOS asks for permission to add it to your Photos when you choose Save Image. The App can only add a picture; it does not read, scan, or index your photo library.
- Sharing. When you choose to share something from the App, such as a grocery list or a picture of your week, iOS shows its share sheet and you choose where it goes. Nothing is shared unless you tap to share it, and we do not receive a copy. What you share is then handled by the app or person you send it to.
You can decline any of these permissions, or change them later in Settings, and the rest of the App keeps working.
How we use information
To respond to support requests, to understand how our Apps are doing from Apple's reports, and, if you choose to share crash reports and usage statistics through Apple, to find and fix problems and maintain the Apps. What you enter in the App is never sent to us, so we do not see it, and we do not use your content for advertising.
Storage, security & processors
Because our Apps have no accounts and no servers, we do not store what you enter in them; it is kept on your iPhone. If you use iCloud Backup or back up your iPhone to a computer, the App's information is included in those backups under your own Apple settings. We cannot see or access your backups.
The outside companies involved in running our Apps and these pages are Apple, which processes purchases and gives us the reports described above; our website hosting provider, which serves these pages; Meta, through the Meta Pixel on our website (see These pages); and our email provider, which delivers and stores the emails you send us. We do not share anything you enter in our Apps with these or any other companies. Links in the App, such as Privacy Policy and Contact Support, open in your web browser, outside the App. We do not sell your personal information. Nothing you enter in our Apps is shared for advertising; only visits to our website are shared with Meta, as described in These pages.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so while we work to protect the information you send us, we cannot promise absolute security.
International users
What you enter in the App is kept on your iPhone, and in your own iCloud or computer backups if you use them, wherever you are. Information that leaves your iPhone (emails you send us, purchases through Apple, crash reports and usage statistics you choose to share, iCloud backups, and visits to these pages) may be processed and stored on servers in the United States or other countries, whose data-protection laws may differ from those where you live, under the terms of the companies that handle it.
Data retention & deletion
What you enter in the App is kept on your iPhone until you remove it. You can change or remove items inside the App, and you can remove everything the App has saved by deleting the App from your iPhone; its data on that iPhone is deleted with it. Pictures you saved to your Photos and anything you shared to other apps stay where you put them. Copies already in your iCloud or computer backups are kept or removed under your backup settings. There is no account to delete.
Records of purchases are kept by Apple under its own policies, because they are needed for billing, entitlement, and tax purposes. Deleting the App does not delete those records, and it does not cancel an active subscription — cancel that in your Apple Account settings.
We keep support emails only to reply and help you, and we will delete them if you ask.
Children
Our Apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The Apps do not collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you are a parent and believe your child has emailed us, contact us and we will delete that message.
Your choices
You can access, correct, or delete most of your data using the in-app controls, because it is all on your iPhone; to remove everything at once, delete the App. For emails you have sent us, contact us at support@
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Because we do not hold your App data, most of this you can do with the in-app controls; for anything else, email support@
These pages
Our website uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc. When you visit a page, it sends Meta information such as the page you viewed, your IP address, browser details, and cookie identifiers. Meta may connect this with a Facebook or Instagram account and uses it to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who visited our website. Meta's use of this information is covered by Meta's Privacy Policy. You can manage ads based on your activity in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, block cookies in your browser, or use a content blocker. Apart from the Meta Pixel, our website sets no other cookies and loads no other analytics or advertising scripts. The Meta Pixel is only on our website; it is not in our Apps.
When you open a page, our hosting provider receives standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) and may keep it in request logs, which we may be able to see, to serve the pages securely and diagnose faults. If you email us, we keep your message and address only to reply and help you.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date above.
